The Center for National Documents and Records Agency is a non-ministerial Governmental Agency that was established by an Act of
the National Legislature in 1977. The mandate of the Agency is to collect, organize and preserve national documents and records. The
Agency also perform other functions that are enshrined in its Act which include issuance of Western marriage certificate, provision of
public library services, national repository management and registration of legal instruments amongst others.
