NATIONAL ELECTIONS COMMISSION


The NEC is an autonomous public commission established under article 89 of the 1986 Constitution of Liberia. The Commission is 
mandated to, among other things, conduct elections and democracy education; plan and conduct elections for all elective public 
officers; organize national referenda; administer and enforce all laws relative to the conduct of elections and regulate political parties 
throughout the Republic of Liberia.
