The Ministry of Transport was established by an Act of the National Legislature in 1987. The Ministry has the mandate and functions
as stipulated under Chapter 37 of the New Executive Law, to primarily administer and implement the Transportation and Insurance
Laws and to plan and execute policies related to Land, Rail, Air and Sea Transport Services within the Republic of Liberia.
